Wait and See! is a platform game developed by Dragon Co.. The game has Nu, pogodi! (Ну, погоди!, a famous Russian series of theatrical shorts similar to American series, Tom and Jerry) as an alternate title; however, apart from this and one of the cartridge labels, it has nothing to do with the actual cartoon.

The phrase "Nu, pogodi!" is more closely translated as "Well, Just you wait!" instead of "Wait and see!".

Bugs Bunny is featured in the title screen, despite that there's no references to Looney Tunes in the entire game.

Trivia[]

  • The main character looks almost identical to Bugs Bunny, while his attack against enemies is identical to the one of Taz from Taz-Mania.
  • Although the main character picks carrots, the carrot counter in the lower part of the screen is represented by a mushroom.
  • There's some hidden text on the game's ROM: "TomSoft Studio. E-mail:tomsoft@ihw.co.cn. Tel:(029)7223482" and "tomsoft-1997". More references to "TomSoft Studio" can be found in other Dragon Co. games.
  • In the Game Over screen, the main character spins and falls on the floor under a spotlight before the coyote comes in and swallows him whole before winking at the player. The Game Over screen is very similiar to the one in Bugs Bunny in Double Trouble for Sega Genesis, although Bugs never gets eaten in that game's Game Over screen.
