Lion King is a hack of Chiki Chiki Machine Mou Race (Wacky Races) for the Famicom. It was published in 1995 by J.Y. Company.

Overview Edit

Other than changing the title screen, the game changes Muttley to Simba instead. (However, on the title screen Muttley can still be seen riding with Dick Dasterdly.) The bark graphic has also been changed from "BOW" to a graphical effect. Some graphics have been removed such as the text for the map and the cutscenes, the dialogue windows and the checkered background used for the cutscenes.

Trivia Edit

  • The known ROM of this game mentions "Chiki-Chiki Dog" in its name. That part was derived from part of the Japanese name and the fact you originally played as Muttley.
