Consoles Famicom

Tauro Video, sometime known as Tauro Video Argentina was an Argentinian VHS distributor that eventually started selling Famicom cartridges in the early 1990's under the Katon brand (stylized as KATON)[1].

Overview Edit

Unlike other distributors, Tauro Video chose to use a generic cover reading Original KATON for all their cartridges. A sticker indicating the game name was added most of the time. Each, if not all, cartridges came with a small plastic box with some using original art and other having completely original drawings.
