The developer[]

Hi there. I see on the page it said unknown developer. But i think i know who may have made this game. My cousin, name Igor Sokolov, used to develop and sell bootleg games back in the mid to late 1990s. He had to stop around 2000, because of a serious stroke that he had. He was telling me around mid-1996 that he was prototyping a super mario world clone for the sega mega drive (that's what it's called in Russia) that he was planning on releasing. He delayed it a bit but eventually released and told me it was just released. He said this in April 1997. I believe firmly that the game was in fact Super Mario World 64. I havent talked to ihm about it, But i may ask him about it later. I dont have any proof at all, of course since he didnt write his name in the game anywhere (he never gave himself credit in the other bootleg games he made, so it makes sense.), but I am almost certain this is the game that he made.

If anyone would like to talk more about this I will be gladly willing to.

Hello, please let us know when you contact your cousin again and whether or not he would be willing to talk about it. Could you give us an example of other games he did? KingPepe2010 (talk) 02:55, April 4, 2020 (UTC)
