Kou Dai Yao Guai - Bai Jin Ban (口袋妖怪 -白金版 or Pokemon: Platinum Edition), also known as Pokémon Platinum, is a Pokémon-based platformer for the Game Boy Color published by Sintax.

Overview Edit

Pokemon Platinum is a fairly standard platformer. You can choose to play as Psyduck, Pichu, Abra, and Flareon (though they don't seem to differ much in abilities.) While some of the stages seem fairly open, the player merely needs to reach the exit point in the stage. Scattered about the stages are the typical power-ups such as health items and such.

The game has a total of four levels and a boss stage in which the player fights an Electabuzz.

Hacks Edit

This game has been hacked several times with mostly just stage graphics different. Such hacks include:

  • The Incredibles
  • Super Sonik II (which features Parasol Stars music instead of Lemmings music.)

Trivia Edit

  • There is a MP bar in the game, but it's unknown how it works or if it even does anything at all.
  • The Pokémon sprites are pulled in FireRed, LeafGreen from Game Boy Advance and Gold, Silver, Crystal from Game Boy Color.
