Hercules is a game for the Sega Mega Drive and a hack of Dahna: Megami Tanjō. The game was released in 1997 by an unknown company.
Overview[]
Besides the initial title screen, there are two other changes: the player starts with much more health, and the game's continue count is increased to 30 instead of the usual five, which a player can't notice at first due to seeing the continue count glitched, giving the player the false impression that the game has unlimited continues. However, using a continue reduces the players' health bar significantly. Besides these changes, the game is identical to it's original counterpart.
Trivia[]
- It's possible that this hack is the reason that the port of Hercules to the Mega Drive, released afterward, was referred to as Hercules 2.
